HealthCareCAN is pressing on to ensure the federal government urgently follows through with promised new funding for health research first announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on May 15 for federal funding under the new COVID stream provincial/territorial infrastructure component of the Investing in Canada program. Consequently, we reached out to members to collect up-to-date data on the current infrastructure projects and needs, as well as data to support an accurate and equitable allocation of federal funding for health research. This data will help show the clear and overwhelming need facing our sector as we all marshal our forces to deal with COVID-19 and beyond.
