The Chief, Health Improvement Networks is a future-thinking change agent that communicates a clear vision, strategy and roadmap supporting PHSA’s provincial mandate and the development of accessible, sustainable healthcare across the province. A big picture thinker, they can communicate a clear vision, strategy, and roadmap and distill that strategic vision into practical applications while supporting a team to fulfill that vision. Naturally humble and a collaborative relationship builder, the Chief Health Improvement Networks is a compelling thought leader who possesses a history of developing successful partnerships that created broad clinical transformation.

The Chief, Health Improvement Networks will wholeheartedly partner with others in the organization to ensure Indigenous-specific anti-racism, Indigenous Cultural Safety, and DEI strategic priorities are being actioned, and holds a steadfast commitment to diversity and creating a just system where Indigenous and other voices that have been systemically excluded are platformed and supported to lead change. PHSA is committed to equity in its hiring and employment practices. With learning and compassion, it is addressing existing inequities and barriers throughout its systems. PHSA is seeking to create a diverse workforce and to establish an inclusive and culturally safe environment. It invites applications and enquiries from all people, particularly those belonging to the historically, systemically, and persistently marginalized groups identified under the BC Human Rights Code.

With multiple years of experience in a senior leadership and influencing role in a large and complex health system, the Chief, Health Improvement Networks brings a foundational background in a clinical practice and/or clinical operations, and their experience is augmented the equivalent of a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
